About the Winery
A five-acre vineyard in Afton near Rockfish Gap, purchased in 1997 by Edda and Gilbert Tallard, with grapes planted beginning in 2003. Focused on Petit Verdot with small amounts of Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Tannat. Since 2016, vineyard production has been managed by Matthieu Finot, winemaker of nearby King Family Vineyards. Wines since the 2019 vintage go under the Domaine Finot label. No public tasting room; visits by appointment only.
