About the Winery
Travessia Urban Winery is a downtown New Bedford winery founded in 2008 by owner and winemaker Marco Montez. They make wine in small lots with primarily Massachusetts-grown grapes, including Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Vidal Blanc, and Pinot Noir. The name Travessia means a journey across the sea.
