About the Winery
Berkeley-based natural wine producer founded in 2020 by winemaker Tim Sakhuja and partner Ayaka Nonaka. Toshokan means library in Japanese. They feature single-vineyard bottlings from Northern California growers with minimal intervention. All wines are spontaneously fermented by wild yeasts with very little sulfur added. Wines are lower in alcohol and meant to be enjoyed with friends and food.
