About the Winery

CIDERY (NOT A WINERY) - Thieves Guild Cidery is a fantasy-themed cider bar and experience bar in Salt Lake City's Central Ninth neighborhood, opened in October 2024. Co-founded by Jordy Knudsen and Max Kirkman, the venue is inspired by games like Dungeons & Dragons and Skyrim. They produce cider, mead, and beer on-site. The interior features programmable lighting, candles, lanterns, and fog machines. Guests can earn 'thieves coins' to trade for merchandise or cast 'spells' that trigger special effects. The bar hosts weekly karaoke, monthly potluck open-mics, and live music events.
