About the Winery
The Pines 1852 is home to some of the oldest vines in the Northwest, with Old Vine Zinfandel vines over 100 years old. Founded in 2001 by Lonnie Wright, the vineyard was originally planted in the late 1800s by Italian stonemason Louis Comini. Peter Rosback of Sineann is the winemaker. The tasting room is in downtown Hood River.
