About the Winery
Family and veteran-owned small farm winery and tasting room in Franklin County, North Carolina. Tempest Cellars produces wines highlighting the muscadine grape which grows wild throughout North Carolina. Their wine portfolio includes Wildcat Wines Sweet Rose, Tempest Cellars Dry White (Seyval Blanc), and Wildcat Wines Sweet White (muscadine). Winemaker Joe Burgess studied Enology and Viticulture at Walla Walla Community College in Washington state. The winery opened January 1, 2025.
