Tarsitano Winery
4871 Hatches Corners Rd, Conneaut, OH, 44030
About the Winery
Nestled high atop the steep Lake Erie escarpment surrounded by the Conneaut Creek River. Founded in the late 1700s, the farm was purchased by Ken Tarsitano's great grandfather Isaac Aho in the early 1900s. Ken returned in 1997, planted the first vineyards in 1998, and expanded to 17 acres. Uses 100% estate-grown grapes. Employs organic methods. Ken promoted the Conneaut Creek growing region as a designated American Viticultural Area. Each vineyard pays homage to family members.
