About the Winery
Syncline Wine Cellars was founded in 1999 by James and Poppie Mantone in Lyle, WA along the Columbia River Gorge. They focus on Rhone varietal wines including Syrah, Mourvedre, Grenache, Roussanne, and Viognier. Their estate vineyard is farmed biodynamically. James Mantone was awarded 2018 Washington Winemaker of the Year.
