About the Winery

Swiss Heritage Winery opened in 2002 as part of Broad Run Corner at the gateway to Amish Country. Housed in the same building as Broad Run Cheese House, which has been making cheese since 1933. Second- and third-generation winemakers Chad and Carson Schindler oversee production of 20-plus varietals. Dog Gone Good Red Wine won two platinum awards from the 2018 Monterey International Wine Competition. Cranberry wine is a perennial gold medal winner. Also features Hans' Place restaurant and tasting room.

Tasting Room

Hours: Mon-Thu 10am-8pm, Fri-Sat 10am-10pm, Sun 10am-6pm. Tasting room and restaurant at Hans' Place. Victorian Curtain and Lace Gift Store on site. Also offers cheese tasting from Broad Run Cheese House.
