About the Winery

CLOSED. Formerly Swedenburg Estate Vineyard, opened in 1988. One of Virginia's pioneering wineries. The property was purchased by David Greenhill in 2013 and reopened as Greenhill Vineyards. Founder Juanita Swedenburg famously won a Supreme Court case allowing wineries to ship directly to out-of-state consumers.
