About the Winery
SUTRO Wine Co. is an independent, women-owned and operated winery located along Chalk Hill Road in the Alexander Valley, Sonoma County. Founded by Alice Warnecke Sutro in 2012. Produces 1,200 cases of Bordeaux varietal wines annually from the historic Warnecke Ranch & Vineyard. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Sauvignon Blanc. The vineyard was established in 1973.

By appointment only. Tours include a visit to the 25-year-old Cab vines and terraced Merlot block, nature walk through oaks with views, followed by tastings at Medlock Ames winery.
