Summum Nectar Publications
About the Winery
Summum Nectar Publications is the winery of the Summum religious organization, housed within a 26-foot tall pyramid built in 1979 in Salt Lake City. It is Utah's first federally bonded winery (Permit ID: UT-W-1). The wines, known as 'Nectar Publications,' are created inside the pyramid where they are left in a creative state for 77 days and aged from one to 15 years. The nectars are used in meditation practices and are said to contain spiritual concepts. Nine Nectar Publications have been created with names such as 'Sexual Ecstasy' and 'Nothing.' The pyramid is also a religious sanctuary and home to the mummified remains of founder Corky Ra.
