Strawbale Winery

About the Winery

Strawbale Winery was established in 2006 by Don and Susie South. The building is constructed of compacted straw bales and wire covered with stucco. The winery produces fruit, honey, and grape wines on-site. The South family retired from day-to-day operations in January 2022 but continued managing wholesale production. They are actively seeking someone to take over operations.
