About the Winery
Steele Wines was founded in 1991 by Jed Steele, an established winemaker who began his career at Stony Hill Vineyard in Napa Valley in 1968 and later became founding winemaker of Kendall-Jackson. The winery specializes in a wide range of varietals sourced from Lake County, Santa Barbara, Carneros and Washington State. Labels include Steele (higher-end), Shooting Star (value), Stymie (reserve), and Writer's Block (father/son project). In 2020, Steele Wines was purchased by Shannon Ridge Family of Wines.

Tasting Room
Tasting room in Kelseyville open Monday-Saturday 11am-5pm. Located at 4350 Thomas Drive at Highway 29. Tasting fee $5 includes five wines and you keep the glass.
