About the Winery

The Kapiniaris family has a wine grape growing heritage stretching back five generations to vineyards in southern Greece. Konstantino Gus Kapiniaris purchased his first 30-acre vineyard in Lodi in 1987. The first Stama Winery label was bottled in 2005. Winemaker Franck Lambert, trained at University of Montpellier, crafts the wines. The family plans to introduce Greek varietals in honor of their heritage.
