About the Winery
Stalworth wines are crafted with restraint-understated, precise, and pure-a transparent reflection of place shaped by time, soil, and patience. The focus is the Rutherford Bench of Napa Valley, narrow alluvial fans that spill out from the Mayacamas foothills. Tim and Sabrina Persson (Sabrina is daughter of Donald Hess of Hess Collection) created Stalworth. Winemaker Celia Welch (known for Scarecrow) crafts the wines. Only 400-500 cases produced annually.
