About the Winery

Slamdance Koöperatieve is owned by winemaker Daniel Callan. Inspired by the California Burgundy wines of Pre-Prohibition, he wanted to resurrect this forgotten style of red table wine. He works with vineyards in Californias Central Coast and with vines whose genetic material has been in California since before Prohibition. The wine is made in an old-fashioned manner with native yeasts and no additions.
