About the Winery
One of the North Fork's most beloved producers, Sherwood House has welcomed guests for over two decades. Founded in 1996 by Dr. Charles and Barbara Smithen. 38-acre vineyard planted with Chardonnay from Burgundian clones, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. Winemaker Gilles Martin has a Master of Oenology from Universite Montpellier I in France.
