About the Winery

Family-owned and operated business opened in December 1999. Karl and Carolyn Zimmerman converted their Snyder County corn and soybean farm into a vineyard in 1989. The 70-acre vineyard grows over 40 different grape varieties including Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Chambourcin, Sangiovese, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Lemberger, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Riesling, Traminette, and more. Also produces an entire line of fruit and specialty wines including Apple, Raspberry, Elderberry, Blackberry, Cherry, Strawberry, and Peach. Produces over 35,000 gallons of wine annually in a 19th Century converted bank barn. Winner of the Susquehanna Heartland Wine Trail events.
