About the Winery
Sea Smoke is an iconic Sta. Rita Hills winery founded by Bob Davids in 1999. The estate vineyard sits alongside the Santa Ynez River between Lompoc and Buellton. Named for the foggy layer (sea smoke) that envelops the region. Helped put the Sta. Rita Hills appellation on the map as Santa Barbara County first cult winery. Biodynamically farmed Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. In 2024, the estate was sold to Constellation Brands.
