About the Winery

Quarry Hill Winery & Orchard is a family-owned fruit farm near the shores of Lake Erie in northeastern Ohio. Since planting their first trees in 1929, the Gammie family has operated the 130-acre farm. The vineyard was planted on the highest point of the farm at 834 feet above sea level, 100+ feet higher than surrounding areas and just 3 miles from Lake Erie, providing protection from spring frosts and longer ripening time. Since 2005, Mac McLelland and Bill Gammie have collaborated to establish the winery offering a wide variety of estate-grown wines.
