About the Winery

Since 1998, Putney Mountain Winery creates Vermont fruit wines of complexity and finesse made from fresh produce grown by local farmers. Their wines are crafted from fruits, maple syrup, honey, and other local ingredients rather than grapes. Putney Mountain Spirits include liqueurs and apple brandy. As of 2025, the business is operated as an employee-owned cooperative. They have two tasting locations in Vermont.
