About the Winery

Purple Sky Winery is a groundbreaking 200-acre winery in Northern Utah with over 200 acres of vineyards across four locations in Snowville, Honeyville, and Deweyville. Founded by Simon Goe, the winery planted its first 5 acres of grapes in 2019 and uses hybrid grape varieties combining European vines with cold-hardy North American plants to thrive in Utah's unique climate. Winemaker David MaKieve crafts 16 different wine varieties ranging from easy-drinking, fresh, and fruity styles. The winery also features a fine-dining restaurant led by a world-renowned chef. The winery is a pioneer in the Mountain West winemaking region.
