Founded by Chris Tropeano, a brewer-turned-winemaker who brings technical expertise from the brewing industry. His approach emphasizes minimal intervention in the cellar and environmental sustainability from grape sourcing to packaging. Present Company is one of the winemaking brands at the Virginia Wine Collective, a shared production and tasting facility in Charlottesville that houses up to nine independent winemakers under one roof.
