About the Winery
Pleasant Valley Wine Company, established in 1860, is the oldest bonded winery in the United States (U.S. Bonded Winery No. 1). Located near Hammondsport in the Finger Lakes, the winery has survived the Civil War, Prohibition, and several ownership changes. Its eight stone buildings are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The winery is the largest producer of bottle-fermented champagnes in the eastern United States.

Tasting Room
Tasting room open daily 10am-5pm (10am-4pm Jan-Mar Tue-Sat). Tastings $5 per person for 7 samples. Tours available on the hour 11am-3pm during summer and fall by reservation.
