About the Winery
Perissos Vineyard and Winery is located in Burnet and is owned by Seth and Laura Martin. Seth Martin is also the winemaker. Perissos is a Greek word found in the Bible meaning 'exceedingly abundant, beyond what is expected, imagined, or hoped for.' The 13-acre estate vineyard includes Tempranillo, Viognier, Touriga Nacional, Petite Sirah, Muscat Canelli, and Aglianico. The vineyard sits at 1,000 feet elevation on decomposed granite soil. 90% of their wine is estate grown. The winery building is a true replication of a standing timber frame barn. Perissos produces between 1,300-4,200 cases per year depending on the vintage. The winery has won highest achievements in Texas wine competitions.

Open Monday-Tuesday 12pm-5pm and other days. Tastings available at the bar or seated at tables. Two tasting fees: lower fee for 4 wines, higher fee for 7 wines.
