About the Winery

Pax and Pam Mahle started Pax Wine Cellars in 2000. The brand focuses on the untapped potential of Syrah in Mendocino County and Sonoma County, producing cool-climate Syrah from vineyards like Alder Springs Vineyard. The lineup has evolved to include Chenin Blanc, Gamay, Carignan and other varieties. They maintain a holistic approach to winemaking, using only grapes grown without chemicals and making wines with as little intervention as possible.
