About the Winery
Named after the song 'It's Only a Paper Moon,' the Cawrse family established Paper Moon in 2009 in Vermilion as a place where guests could relax and recharge. The winery sits on 50 acres of cleared and wooded land just west of the Vermilion River, less than two miles from Lake Erie. The Cawrse family operated the Cloverdale Creamery for 36 years before opening the winery. Adam Cawrse is the winemaker. Offers award-winning wines, hard cider, and local craft beer. Live music every Friday and Saturday evening.
