Obiso Company LLC is associated with Whitebarrel Winery, owned by Dr. Richard Obiso (Rik) and his wife Tess Gallagher. Whitebarrel is a 5,000 case/year farm winery in Christiansburg, Virginia producing traditional wines and fruit wines. The owners are professional microbiologists with PhDs in microbiology. The winery uses some ancient winemaking techniques including concrete tank fermentation.
