O'Farrell Country Vineyards
About the Winery
O'Farrell Country Vineyards is a family-owned winery in East Texas producing muscadine and fruit wines from native grapes and local fruits. Established in 2006 when Benny Moore and his father planted Muscadine vines for a U-Pick operation that opened in 2008. The winery opened in 2011. Three generations are now involved in the business. The vineyard includes about 70 rows and 600 plants growing 14 varieties of Muscadine cultivars. They make seven Muscadine wines from dry to sweet and four sweet wines from fresh local fruit. All wines are made on-site. The tasting room is housed in a historic barn built with lumber salvaged from the old O'Farrell schoolhouse. Open Fridays and Saturdays year round.
