About the Winery

Virginia's first and only sake brewery. One of only about 20 sake breweries in the US. Founded by Andrew Centofante, who trained at a 200-year-old brewery outside Osaka, Japan. Open since 2018. Brews traditionally handcrafted sake as well as experimental styles using Arkansas-grown sake rice. Also serves Japanese-inspired cuisine including dumplings, ramen, and rice bowls at Bad Luck Ramen Bar. Sake is brewed on-site using koji mold, rice, water, and yeast through multiple parallel fermentation.
