About the Winery
Nicholas came to the USA from Icaria, Greece in 1951 and started the winery as a hobby, planting the first vines in 1992. The Winery opened in 1999. The vineyard has the only Valiant grape vines in the states. Two wines have won medals at the Michigan State Fair. Now operated by nieces Maria Melacrinos (owner) and Alea Melacrinos (manager-winemaker). Also has a tasting room in Mackinaw City.

Tasting Room
Open daily 10:00am-6:00pm, Sunday 12:00pm-6:00pm. Free wine tastings at the tasting table. Tours of the vineyard and winemaking room available. Also has a Mackinaw City tasting room open 10:00am-11:00pm daily.
