About the Winery
Mountfair Vineyards focuses on Bordeaux grapes: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Malbec. The tasting room is a small wooden cottage on the Eastern slope of the Blue Ridge Mountains near Charlottesville. Formerly run by Fritz Repich, now Kelly Meyers Rogan handles winemaking duties after learning from her predecessor and attending UC Davis. Reds sell for around $30 per bottle.
