About the Winery
Metaphora Wines was founded by Ravi Mehta, producing meticulously handcrafted vintage Napa wines utilizing grapes from Napa Valley's most famed vineyards. The first vintage of Cabernet Sauvignon in 2005 was a collaboration with winemakers Chuck and Joseph Wagner of Caymus Vineyards. Present winemaker is Mark Herold. The name Metaphora is a playful pun honoring his family: "Four Mehtas."
