About the Winery
Founded in 2008 by longtime friends Mark Dirickson and Mike Kohne, Mercy Vineyards is the first brand to bet entirely on the Arroyo Seco AVA. The appellation sits on the cobbles of an ancient riverbed in Monterey County. Both are industry veterans - Dirickson worked for J. Lohr and Foley Estates, while Kohne worked with Foley, Diageo, Beringer and Rosenblum.
