The Jacobsen family founded Leelanau Cellars in 1974 in one of its Leelanau County cherry orchards. One of Northern Michigan's most established wineries and the state's largest wine distributor. Over 40 years later, still family-owned and operated. Tasting room on shores of Grand Traverse Bay welcomes over 40,000 visitors annually. Distributes 200,000 cases annually throughout Michigan and the Great Lakes region. Over 30 award-winning wines not found in stores available at the tasting room. Famous for Witches Brew. Leelanau Peninsula AVA.
