Lake Michigan Vintners is home to the Midwest's first commercial teaching winery, located within the Welch Center for Wine & Viticulture on the north side of Lake Michigan College's campus. Small batch, handcrafted wines and ciders produced by students of Lake Michigan College under the guidance of professional winemakers. Rooted in the Lake Michigan Shore AVA. Buy from local growers, press fruit in-house. Offers an accredited A.A.S. degree in Wine & Viticulture Technology. Open Friday and Saturday 12pm-6pm.
