About the Winery

Family-owned vineyard and winery in the Mimbres River Valley, about 25 miles northeast of Silver City. Owned by David and Esperanza Gurule. The land was homesteaded by Esperanza's grandfather, Don Antonio De La O, in 1906. Started growing grapevines in 1998. Named after Esperanza, which means 'hope.' The tasting room is open weekends and visitors are encouraged to bring picnic lunches.
