Knipprath Cellars is a family-owned winery in Spokane, located in the historic Parkwater Schoolhouse built in 1913. Started in 1993, transitioned to full-time in 1999. Winemaker Henning Knipprath hails from Koblenz, Germany. Specializes in Port and fortified wines, with award-winning firsts for the Spokane area including Washington State Pinot Noir and the first locally produced Port. Also produces Tempranillo, Merlot, dessert wines, and sherry.
