About the Winery
Sand Hollow Winery was opened in 2012 by Jim Young, vintner and owner, on 83 wooded acres in Heath, Ohio. Features a three-season cabin expanded into a winery with tiered wooden decks, picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, a fire pit and gazebo by a pond. Also operates Sand Hollow Speakeasy in downtown Newark, a Prohibition-themed bar requiring a password for entry. Known for Old World-style wines from imported Italian and Chilean juices.

Heath location: Friday 4-8pm, Saturday 2-8pm (spring/summer/fall), Saturday noon-7pm (winter). Speakeasy: Monday-Saturday 4:30-8:30pm. $5 for 10-taste option.
