About the Winery

Hillsborough Vineyards is a family-owned vineyard and winery specializing in the small batch production of complex wines in harmony with the terroir of Virginia. The winery focuses on grapes that have proven themselves in Virginia, not those popularized by other regions. In late 2018, they opened a brewery on premise, making it one of the few places in Virginia to enjoy both beer and wine. Their signature wine is "Ruby," a blend of Tannat, Fer Servadou, and Petit Verdot. The winery has been recognized by the Washington Post and other wine reviewers.
