About the Winery
Hickory Hill Vineyards is Virginia's 75th farm winery, crafting some of Smith Mountain Lake's best wine from its oldest vineyard, grown right here for 30+ years. The winery offers award-winning, vintage, estate-grown Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon, a popular "Lake series" of blended grape wines, locally grown Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Over 80 medals and awards for wine quality and agri-business. NOTE: The winery announced plans to retire from the farm winery business at the end of 2025.
