About the Winery
Pioneer of viticulture and winemaking in the Finger Lakes, founded in 1979 by Hermann J. Wiemer. His mother's family made wine in Germany's Mosel Valley for over 300 years. The 90-acre estate on the western slopes of Seneca Lake is one of the region's greatest. Achieved Demeter biodynamic certification in 2023. Named Winery of the Year by New York Wine & Grape Foundation. One of the most celebrated wineries in the US for cool-climate wines.

Tasting Room
Seated educational tasting experiences. Reservations recommended but walk-ins welcome. Tasting room open Monday-Saturday 10:30am-4pm, Sunday 11am-4pm. Retail shop open until 5pm. Library features over 2,500 bottles spanning decades. Private library tastings available. Pets welcome on leash.
