About the Winery
Haunted Vineyards Winery is a family run winery with an international award winning winemaker, located on Selma, an 1830 historic estate in Amelia County, Virginia. Built in 1827 by Dr. Philip T Southall, Selma was used as a field hospital during the Civil War. The property features 50 bucolic acres with century-old trees, vineyards, a 5,100 sq ft barn, pavilion, pond area, and grain silos with Adirondack chairs and fire pits. Virtually every aspect of vineyard management and wine-making is executed by hand. HVW specializes in red blends.
