About the Winery
Long Island's first successful commercial vineyard, founded in 1973 by Alex and Louisa Hargrave in Cutchogue. Pioneers of the region's vinifera wine industry, planting Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir. Sold to the Borghese family in 1999 and now operates as Castello di Borghese. The original vineyard site is at 17150 County Route 48, Cutchogue.
