Gray Ghost Vineyards is a family owned and operated winery in Amissville, Virginia, placing Virginia on the international wine map by producing internationally acclaimed fine wines from immaculate vineyards. Al and Cheryl Kellert planted their first vines in 1986. All grapes are hand-picked and wine is aged in premium oak barrels. Full-bodied reds are unfiltered. Named "Best of the East" by Vineyard and Winery Management Magazine four consecutive years. The winery offers knowledgeable staff, southern hospitality, beautiful picnic grounds and spacious indoor facilities.
