About the Winery

Founded in 2013 by Matthew Spaccarelli and Casey Erdmann Fjord Vineyards crafts wines that reflect their Hudson Valley terroir. Flanked by Storm King Mountain and Mt. Beacon the Hudson River fjord creates a unique microclimate. 42 acres of estate grapes including the largest planting of Albarino in New York State (3 acres). Won Best Cabernet Franc at the 2017 New York Wine Classic and Best White at the Hudson Valley Wine Competition. Matthew is part of the same family that owns nearby Benmarl Winery. Tasting room permanently closed; new tasting room expected April 2027.
