About the Winery
Founded in 1977 by an old-world Spanish wine-maker this family-owned farm winery located in a 100-year-old barn on Route 9W in the Hudson Valley used 100% New York grapes. Known for award-winning Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon and Franc and their popular Black Bear red. Permanently closed in October 2025 after nearly 50 years in operation.
