About the Winery
Dovecote Farm is a family-run vineyard founded in 2014 in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Crozet, Virginia, within the Monticello AVA. Their mission is to produce Chardonnay grapes of the highest caliber. The Chardonnay vines were planted in April 2014 at an elevation of 950 feet, clone 96, rootstock 101-14. They partner with award-winning King Family Vineyards as their contract winemaker. Production is limited given their small site and focus on quality.
