For four decades, the Bazaco family has cultivated the land and crafted exceptional wines at Doukenie Winery. Nestled along the serene beauty of Loudoun Countys Short Hill Mountain, this 318-acre working farm winery includes 23 acres planted with 12 distinct grape varieties. George Bazaco, a pulmonologist, and his wife Nicki purchased Legard Farm in 1983, and the first vines were planted in 1985. Hopes homemade baklava is a beloved tradition. Open daily.
